“Hackbridge is a good school. Pupils achieve well over time, especially in reading and mathematics. Teachers work hard to motivate and engage pupils in their learning. The behaviour of pupils is good and the children report that they do not know of any bullying in school and feel that school helps them to keep safe. Leadership and Management is judged to be good at all levels. The Curriculum is broad and balanced. It is enriched by many opportunities to take part in national and international celebrations, which are enjoyed by pupils and promote high quality work”
We are a popular three form entry primary school, with attached nursery, located close to Hackbridge Station. We have been at the heart of our community for over 100 years.
We aim to work in partnership to enable each child to reach the highest possible standards of learning, whilst encouraging everyone to develop an enthusiasm for life, together with a sense of pride in themselves, our school and our community.
The school consists of three main buildings and we are also very fortunate to have specialist provision for ICT, Music, Design & Technology/Art and a well equipped library. In addition to these we also have a specialist Sports Hall which was funded by the National Lottery. Our Family Room provides a venue for a range of family activities. Our wonderful pond area provides an ideal space for science and quiet activities.
